Tuesday night's game between the Golden Knights and Penguins wasn't just another regular season game on the road to the playoffs.  For the first time in his career, Marc-Andre Fleury was a visitor in Pittsburgh as he returned to face his former team.

#MarcAndreFleury was brought to tears by the incredible ovation he got from #Penguins fans 😭

It was an emotional game for Fleury from warmups to the final whistle and although the Golden Knights lost the game 5-4, there's no way Fleury will ever forget his return.

Obviously Fleury would have liked to pick up the win in his return, but it didn't play out like that and after the loss, the three-time Stanley Cup champion gave an interesting reason as to why it was difficult to stop the Penguins.

No goalie knows those players and their tendencies better than Fleury and you'd think having that information might be an advantage, but as the former Penguin explained, it wasn't Tuesday night.

Fleury did get the better of his former teammates on a few occasions, though, and when he did, he made sure to let them know about it.
