The Florida Panthers might not be the most popular franchise in the NHL, but fans always had an appreciation for their jerseys, at least until they made the decision to change their logo and entire look ahead of the 2016-17 season.

Part of the changes meant dropping the classic shoulder patch and helmet decal they rocked from day one which featured a hockey stick and a palm tree inside a sun, and it looks like the Panthers might be bringing it back this season.

Florida Panthers website reporter Jameson Olive reported that the team is bringing back the palm tree and stick logo as a helmet sticker, which had fans jumping to the conclusion that this also means the Panthers have some sort of alternate jersey in the works.

We don’t want to jump to any conclusions, but we’re going to anyways and guess that this means a Florida Panthers third jersey is on the way in the near future.
