The Philadelphia Flyers went through a brutal stretch earlier this season when they dropped 10 straight games from November 11 to December 2, 2017.

Despite their brutal losing skid early on in the season, the Flyers currently hold a playoff spot as they own a 24-16-8 record through 48 games, good enough for third spot in the Metropolitan Division.

Since the team has been pretty successful as of late and head into Thursday night’s game on a four-game winning streak, their social media team had some fun on Wednesday by dropping a video of every Flyers player sharing what they spent their first NHL paycheck on and some of the answers are pretty interesting.

As expected, a good majority of the players said they went out a bought a new car with their first paycheck, but the best answer has to be Claude Giroux’s.

One person who didn’t shock Flyers fans at all was Brian Elliott, who said he put it in the bank to save as much as he could.
