For the first time in the series' history, HBO's Hard Knocks will cover two teams, the company announced via social media Thursday.

The Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers were  both rumoured to be HBO's targets back in April and are now officially set to debut on August 11th. This summer will mark the first season the two teams hit the field in SoFi Stadium, located in Inglewood, California.

Sean McVay, Jared Goff, Aaron Donald, rookie Justin Herbert, Keenan Allen, lots of great personalities to cover!

Of course, this year will be different for more reasons than one. How is the show going to look during the COVID-19 pandemic? Will the access be different from other years? And what will preseason games be like without fans?!

So many questions!!!!

The Rams were previously featured on Hard Knocks in 2016 during their move back to LA from St. Louis, whereas the Chargers will be featured for the first time. It would have been great to see Philip Rivers behind the scenes but hey, this should still be one of the most interesting Hard Knocks to date.
