Everything gets more intense come playoff time, no matter what sport you play. The KHL is currently in the midst of the first round of the playoffs, and it hasn’t taken teams very long to show their rough side.

Lokomotiv Yaroslavl and Dinamo Mn are currently going head-to-head in quarterfinals action and it has pretty much been a one-sided series with Lokomotiv leading 3-1 through the first four games. After combining for 12 goals in Game 2 and Game 3, Dinamo Mn came out angrier than usual for Game 4 and were not planning on getting swept.

Leading 4-2 with just under 14 minutes to go in the game, Dinamo Mn started getting more aggressive than usual, and Lokomotiv forward Brandon Kozun ended up being the victim twice in less than 10 seconds.

The second hit looked more like a collision than anything else, but the first one was absolutely massive. The former Toronto Maple Leaf left the ice a little bloody after his shift, but didn’t leave the game.
