Another game, and another blown lead turned loss for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

On a night where Hall of Famer Eric Lindros was honoured in front of the Philly faithful by having his jersey retired up into the rafters, the Leafs were left staring down wondering how another game had slipped through their fingertips.

Up 2-0 early into the third period, rookie Nolan Patrick got the Flyers on the board with his third of the season before Wayne Simmonds tallied just under two minutes later.

18 seconds into overtime, potential Selke nominee Sean Couturier potted his 26th goal of the season, putting him just two shy of Alex Ovechkin’s league leading total of 28. It was the fourth straight game where the Leafs lost, with all games being decided by one goal.

Toronto has just five combined regulation and overtime wins in their last 20 games, and three over their last 16.

Freddie Andersen, who’s been arguably the Leafs best player with a .928 save percentage over his last seven games, had some pointed comments following the game.

TSN's Craig Button loved the fire Andersen showed following the Leafs latest collaspe.

The Leafs will look to get back to their winning ways when they face the Sens in Ottawa on Saturday night.
