All of Canada is still feeling that golden afterglow ever since the World Juniors team managed to down Russia in the gold medal game, winning it in heroic comeback fashion. The drama kicked into high gear when Canada fell behind 3-1 in the 3rd period, and Connor McMichael scored a crucial goal 34 seconds later to give the momentum back to Canada.

It may have been a point shot that simply hit McMichael’s skate, but it was a huge moment nonetheless. On Sunday, McMichael was back playing with the London Knights in the OHL and flashed a goal just a little bit nicer than that.

Is it the year of the between the legs finish? Maybe just the year of the Michigan. Either way, these guys aren’t messing around when it comes to highlights.
