France is heading to the World Cup Final for the first time in 12 years after their 1-0 victory over Belgium on Tuesday evening and French supporters around the world celebrated as they watched their team clinch a trip to the finals.

One person in particular who was glued to the television set for the entire game and even shared celebration videos after the lone goal and the big win was former NHL enforcer Georges Laraque.

Watching from inside the Bar Monsieur Ricard in Montreal, Laraque and hundreds of other French soccer fans celebrated the victory together and it looked like quite the party.

Meanwhile in Paris, fans took to the streets to celebrate the win and even set off fireworks.

France will have a shot to capture their second World Cup title on Sunday when they take on the winner of the Croatia and England match.
