On Thursday, Georges St-Pierre did what everyone expected him to do, announce his retirement.

The 37-year-old retires as arguable the greatest fighter of all-time, but there was one more fight everyone wanted to see before St-Pierre called it a career.  Unfortunately, as GSP explained during his media conference, that fight just wasn't in the plans.

When news of his retirement went viral Wednesday, Khabib Nurmagomedov issued a challenge to GSP for a fight in November.  As St-Pierre explained, though, the UFC had other plans.

As disappointing as it is that the two won't get to fight, you have to tip your hat to GSP who's retiring on his terms after a legendary career.
