The football world is expecting a lot of big things from Saquon Barkley right out of the gate especially after the running back was selected 2nd overall in the 2018 NFL Draft. The Giants were quick to lock up their new running back as they signed him to a four-year deal worth an estimated $31.2 million shortly after the draft and it appears that the 21-year-old has made his first big purchase.

Earlier this week, Barkley posted a photo on his social platforms of him standing in front of a house with a ‘Sold’ sign on the front lawn that he purchased for his parents.

Barkley used his first NFL paycheck to buy a house for his parents and included the following caption with the photo.

“Something I promised my parents, ever since I was a young kid. Finally be able to achieve that goal is the most amazing feeling. Every kid out there that has a dream continue to keep your head down and work your butt off, great things will come along the way.”

That’s easily one of the best ways to spend your first NFL paycheck.
