The Wild Card race in the Western Conference is tight and at this point in the season, every game matters for the teams fighting for their playoff lives.

The Calgary Flames are one of those teams and entering play Monday night, they sit two points back of the Avalanche for the final playoff spot after losing to the Islanders 5-2 on Sunday.

Less than 24 hours after the loss, Flames head coach Greg Gulutzan stopped practice and dropped F-bomb after F-bomb while explaining to his team how to play the right way.

As entertaining as the 22 F-bombs were, the rant had nothing on Gulutzan's stick toss into the stands from earlier in the season.

He threw his stick! "LET'S %^*#^*% GO!" - Flames head coach Glen Gulutzan today at practice.

The players know the way they need to play down the stretch, but their head coach was just reminding them after they failed to do so Sunday.

Calgary kicks off the week with another instalment of the Battle of Alberta before facing two playoff teams in the Pacific (San Jose, Vegas).
