Luke Glendening is by no means a fighter in the NHL.
While he is not a skill player either, he fits in the category of an undersized grinder that never seems to run out of energy. Well, he seemed to get under Aaron Ekblad’s skin last night as the two got into a fight and Glendening surprised many, including his teammates by connecting with a lot of big punches.
As blood was dripping down his face when he entered the penalty box, Luke Witkowski was absolutely thrilled with his teammate.
Fans were also pretty thrilled with Glendening’s performance.
More than anything they loved his smile after the fight. That combined with the blood dripping down his face really sold the whole hockey guy mentality.
