We love a good goalie fight, of course, and there was some pretty exciting action on that front when the Wheeling Nailers took on the Utah Grizzlies in ECHL play on Sunday night.
Our participants here are Francois Brassard (in black) and Kevin Carr (wearing white) going for a dance with just a few seconds to go in what looks like a heated, if not particularly close, end to the game.
It looks like Carr right slips at the beginning of the fight and Brassard takes full advantage, but all in all, it’s a good pretty tussle.
Brassard, who made 23 saves on 24 shots in the Nailers’ 6-1 win, earned third star honours in this game for good measure. We’re sure he’s happy to just collect what seems to be a pretty decisive W in this goalie fight.
Don’t hold it against him! He’s a nice guy! He promises!
