Football is one of those sports that you can play in any weather. Although it's much more difficult to play football in the snow or rain, it's actually quite enjoyable to do so as we've recently seen.
Golf, however, is a sport reserved for beautiful weather, so Canadians right now would have to to escape the cold and snow in order to get a round in or wait it out until the weather is nicer.
If you're looking for a place to go to and play, Florida is one of the best places to go because the weather (for the most part) is beautiful and so are some of the courses. Golfing in Florida does come with some danger, though, because alligators do make appearances on courses from time to time.
Apparently pythons can show up, too, and if you're lucky enough like these golfers were, you might even see them fight.
The man who shared, Richard Nadler, the pictures of the gator and python going at it spoke to WSAV and shared some more details about the encounter he and other golfers had with the two beasts.
“They were absolutely still,” he said. “There was no grappling going on, nothing. The python’s head was in the mouth of the alligator and the alligator was just sitting there absolutely still with his eyes wide open not moving. And he had all these people around him these golf carts and people walking around taking photographs.”
Several people said that the ‘battle’ ended with the alligator dragging the snake into the water.
“Apparently there was no intervention and the next morning they were all gone and the assumption was that the alligator won and that was the end of it,” Nadler said.
Clearly the python had no fear at all and that may have what cost it in the end. All we know is that if we saw this happening on the course, we would not take pictures and probably run away as fast possible because those are two animals you don't want to piss off.
