All eyes were on Gordon Hayward the night he made his debut for the Boston Celtics, but it wasn’t for the reason he was hoping for.

Just over five minutes into his Celtics debut, the 27-year-old suffered a very gruesome injury that made the entire sports world hold their breath for the 2017 NBA All-Star.

It's been just under two months since Hayward suffered a fractured tibia and a dislocated ankle in his left leg but it looks like his recovery process is going very well.

On Wednesday afternoon, a video made its rounds online of Hayward walking around without his walking boot for the very first time since his injury.

It looks like Hayward’s recovery is ahead of the plan but he’s still months away from taking part in an NBA game.
