It’s going to be a little strange when the Arnold Palmer Invitational officially tees off later this week, and that’s because it’s going to be the first time the event is taking place without its host.

Sadly, Arnold Palmer passed away last September, so things are going to be a little different this year at the event. He’s on the mind of golf fans on a daily basis, but even more so this time of the year.

With the official start a few days away, Mastercard released an “Arnie Would” ad in honour of Palmer, and it’s a tearjerker.

You don’t have to be a diehard golf fan to understand how important Palmer was to the game as a whole. It will be strange to watch the tournament without him in attendance, but you can bet he’s going to be celebrated all week long.
