Whenever Gritty takes the ice, you can't help but watch what he's going to do next.

The reckless Philadelphia Flyers mascot was out looking for trouble once again during the second intermission of the Flyers and Avs game on Monday night in Philly.

With the Flyers doing some sort of fan promotion that involved two contestants dressed up as sumo wrestlers, Gritty came in like a wrecking ball and left no prisoners. He was then placed in the penalty box presumably for charging, and then made a scene as he was escorted out by security.

Here's the full segemt and wider version of the video.

On Saturday, the orange-figured fella was a mascot on a mission by taking out in fans in bubble balls.

And with Halloween right around the corner, the Gritty costumes are already out in full force.

Never change, Gritty, never change. At least he can grip the ice a little better now.

Maybe Gritty can start campaigning outside the opposition's dressing room to throw the away team off prior to puk drop, as the Avs, led by their dynamic top line of Nathan MacKinnon, Gabriel Landeskog and Mikko Rantanen, defeated the Flyers 4-1.
