19-year-old defenceman Josh Brook is in his fourth full season in the WHL and is now a seasoned veteran for the Moose Jaw Warriors.

Ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, Brook was named the 32nd captain in Warriors history.

A 2nd-round selection (56th overall) of the Montreal Canadiens in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, Brook and the Warriors were in action on Tuesday night, and the captain of the club was leading by example.

Taking the puck from his own zone, Brook smoothly skated the puck through all three zones before dishing the puck off upon entering the Tri-City Americans’ zone. Brook took a hit, then cut down the wall before being fed back with the puck, where he then walked in and put it through his legs and scored an absolute highlight-reel goal.

This clearer clip below along with the audio call shows just how nasty the coast-to-coast goal truly was.

As Drake would say, “wet like I’m B(r)ook.”

In 14 games this season, the Roblin, Manitoba, product has amassed 19 points (six goals and 13 assists) in 14 games for the Warriors.
