The CFL made a major announcement on Wednesday afternoon in Halifax as the league got one step closer to unveiling its 10th franchise.

During a special press conference, Maritime Football Partnership, the group working on bringing a CFL franchise to Halifax, and CFL commissioner Randy Ambrosie announced that season tickets are now available for purchase with deposits starting at $50 per package.

While the team isn’t expected to join the league until 2021, fans who put down a deposit will be placed on a priority list that will allow them to pick their seats on a first come, first served basis, and will also get a say in the team’s name.

According to the CFL, the group in charge of bringing the team to Halifax has short-listed four possible team names thus far.

Which one would you pick if you were a fan buying into the team?
