In this day and age, it's become quite common for players to find out they've been traded on social media.  Alex Galchenyuk, for example, was just traded to Arizona and said he found out while he was on social media on a flight.

On Saturday, Noah Hanifin was involved in a huge trade that sent him to Calgary and he found out the old-fashioned way, by phone call. What he was doing while he got the call, though, will give fans a laugh, as per George Johnson of NHL.com.

"A little strange,'' confessed the suddenly-on-the-move defenceman. "I was at the theatre with my brother and sister, here in Boston, watching the new Jurassic Park movie when my agent, Pat Brisson, called and gave me a head's-up that this was happening.

"I'd had an inkling something might be up the night before. Wasn't sure where, though.

"So I had to step outside to take the call."

Nobody likes being interrupted by a phone call while in a movie theatre, but this call was kind of important.

Now, for the answer to the question everyone is asking, did Hanifin watch the rest of the movie:

"After the call, I kinda missed the whole movie, to be honest with you. The first five minutes seemed promising."

Anyone on the fence about seeing the new Jurassic Park movie, you won't be disappointed by the first five minutes at the very least.

Like the new movie, the expectations are high for Hanifin in Calgary and we're sure the 21-year-old is ready to do all he can to meet them.
