Opening night in any sport is supposed to be an exciting for players, especially those players playing their first game for a new team.

Gordon Hayward was one of many Celtics players making his debut for the team Tuesday night, but less than six minutes into his first game for Boston, something horrible happened.

As per head coach Brad Stevens, Hayward suffered a dislocated ankle and fractured tibia on the play.

Athletes and fans from across the sports world tweeted out their support for Hayward once the injury occurred, and LeBron James even went to see him in the Cavs' locker room between the first and second quarter.

If there's one tweet that displayed how close the NBA community truly is, though, it would be this one from Hayward's former team, the Utah Jazz.

Fans can easily get caught up in the drama that player movement creates, but this tweet just goes to show that none of that drama matters and support in tough times means everything.

Hats off to the Jazz and everyone else who tweeted their support for Hayward, from fans, to players, to media members.  Get well soon Gordon!
