Hockey is Canada’s biggest sport, and if you need more proof just look at Health Canada’s most recent study involving cannabis regulation.

Health Canada recently issued a 60-day public consultation to solicit public input and views on cannabis regulations. It was ultimately determined that the final regulations to define a micro-sale license should authorize the authorization of plant canopy area no more than 200 square meters (2,150 square feet). To give readers a visual idea of the space, they went full-blown Canadian and used a hockey rink.

Does it get any more Canadian than that?

We’ve witnessed hockey surfaces be used for all sorts of weird reasons lately. Take this gentleman for example, who used it as a shooting target to see what happens when a bullet hits the ice.

And Cashmere Cat, Major Lazer and Tory Lanez, who used a hockey rink to film their track ‘Miss You’.

It’s great to see the government get in on the hockey action and further emphasize that no matter what, everything in this country tends to come back to hockey. If you’re looking for a new house or apartment and are trying to determine how large the space is, you might want to consider using this tactic in the future.
