Roberto Luongo and Eddie Lack only spent one season together in Vancouver but that one season was all they needed to form their special bond.
Following the Philadelphia Flyers’ victory over the Montreal Canadiens in Game 1 of their series, Lack tweeted that Carter Hart is the best goalie he’s seen since he saw Carey Price play for the first time.
Lack quickly clarified that he meant the best young goalie he’s seen since Carey Price.
Young goalie or not, it didn’t stop Luongo from chiming in with a hilarious response.
Hockey fans, especially Canucks fans, know all about the special bond between Luongo and Lack, and the latter had a pretty great response.
