A NHL franchise announced earlier today that they’ll be unveiling a new third jersey at this June’s entry draft.

The Arizona Coyotes will add to their collection when they make their selection with the fifth overall pick. The team stated that the jersey will officially be revealed at its draft party.

The NHL eliminated the third jersey last season, however, the league announced they will return next season. Arizona recently gave their uniforms an overhaul ahead of 2015’s draft. The new jersey now features black strikes on the arms along with a unique shoulder patch.

The question now remains what exactly the organization will decide to do with the new uniform. Arizona’s retro Coyote logo was a hit with hockey fans and should be considered as a possible option. Other logos the team could explore is their shoulder patch or a separate theme involving the desert.

After years of mediocrity, Arizona finally instilled some hope in their fans by stringing together a series of wins down the stretch. With promising youngsters such a Clayton Kellar and Christian Dvorak on the rise, and Dylan Strome expected to make the team out of camp next year, now appears to be the perfect time to make a new jersey available for fans.

Hopefully it can bring some luck to the team in the upcoming season.
