Joe Thornton is an absolute legend and we need to cherish every single moment he provides us with because we're not sure how many more years he's got left on his skates.

The former Bruin and longtime Shark will turn 41 in July and although his team isn't in a position to win a Stanley Cup this season in what could be his last shot at doing so, he's still enjoying his time playing the game we all love as evidenced by this incredible video of Jumbo Joe mic'd up against Vancouver.

Thornton is incredibly entertaining on and off the ice, and he was also involved in a fun moment in that same game with Jay Beagle and the linesman before a face-off.

NHL players need to be mic'd up more often.  It's always insightful to hear the conversations they have with their teammates, opponents, and even on ice officials.
