When they’re feeling like giving fans a good laugh, Boston Bruins teammates Brad Marchand and Torey Krug will pick up their phones and just start chirping each other on Twitter. Last night they decided to go at it and it made for one of their funnier exchanges yet.
Krug decided to kick things off with a “Sup” to Marchy, who out of nowhere decided to take a shot at Krugs’ size by filling up a tiny bucket with bubbles and calling it his “bath.” From there, things kind of escalated quickly as Krug made sure to take a shot at Marchand’s 5’9 frame as well.
And then out of nowhere, Marchand decides to take a shot at defenceman Charlie McAvoy. This man is fearless when it comes to roasting his own squad!
So we’re still confused about something. Were the boys just rooming together and posting all of these while standing next to one another? Because it wouldn’t be the first time they awkwardly did something like this. After Patrice Bergeron played in his 1,000th game, the duo once again took to Twitter… while sitting right next to one another. The whole thing just seemed a bit weird.
If you’re wondering why their tweets were sent so late last night, just remember that they’re rolling on Pacific time right now in San Jose. Hopefully they’re well-rested for tonight's matchup, even if one of them had to soak the floor.
