The Humboldt Broncos’ lineup is going to be very different next season and it’s going to be a very emotional night when they return to the ice for the first time since the tragic bus crash that took the lives of 16 people and left 13 others injured.

One player who will be representing the Broncos next season is 19-year-old Dane Dow. The Rivercourse, Alberta native is one of the goalies on the team’s roster for the upcoming season and he’s going to honour those who lost their lives in the tragic crash on his mask.

The mask was designed by Morgen of Schinny Designs based out of Lethbridge, Alberta, and it features the name of all 16 people who lost their lives in the accident, as well Humboldt Strong on the side of the mask and plenty of the team’s logos.

The 2018-19 SJHL season will get underway on September 12 when the Humboldt Broncos host the Nipawin Hawks.
