The Carolina Hurricanes have made a few changes to their jerseys over the past six years and it looks like there’s another change on the way.

On Thursday evening the Hurricanes’ social media team shared out a teaser video with the caption reading ‘8.20.19 Take Warning’, and all signs in the video are pointing to the revealing of a brand new road jersey for the team.

Based on the quick glimpse of the shoulder area of the jersey it looks like they might be throwing it back to about 10 years ago based on the shoulder patch, but there’s also a chance that this might be a new third jersey they’re adding to their wardrobe.

However, the reason we’re guessing this teaser has something to do with the announcement of a new away jersey instead of a third jersey is based on what we already know and that’s the fact that Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon is not a fan of their current road jerseys and did everything he could to make sure the team wouldn’t wear them on the road last year.

We’ll just have to wait and see!
