The 2018-19 NHL season is right around the corner and the Winnipeg Jets will be surprising their fan base with a new sweater before action kicks off.

The team announced they’ll be revealing a new third jersey on September 14th that’s different from the one they rocked during the 2016 Heritage Classic. Jets nation has no clue as to what the uniform might look like, but a Reddit user recently shared one that fans can agree would look solid on the ice. Check out this neat ‘Blue Mist’ concert posted by U/Plaineman.

Unlike the Jets' regulars, this one incorporates far more red than any jersey the team has worn in the past.

Other graphic artists have also given Winnipeg’s get-ups a makeover. Take Dylan Nowak, who gave them a nice twist of his own.

And just recently, the NHL released their own version of the NFL’s colour rush jerseys, which included an all-white Jets tarp. Imagine rocking one of these bad boys during the playoffs!!!!

It will be interesting to see what design the Jets ultimately go with, but we’re sure it won’t disappoint based on the team’s sweaters from the Heritage Classic. Who knows, maybe they’ll bring back the old logo again?
