Isaiah Thomas did a lot of great things both on and off the court during his time with the Boston Celtics. In his two and a half seasons with the Celtics, Thomas averaged 24.7 points, 6 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game, all of which were career-highs.

Despite being the heart and soul of the Celtics organization since he was acquired from Phoenix during the 2014-15 season, Boston shipped the two-time All-Star to the Cleveland Cavaliers, along with Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, and the Brooklyn Nets’ 2018 first-round pick in exchange for Kyrie Irving.

On Wednesday night, Thomas returned to Boston for the first time since the trade and he got quite the ovation from the Celtics faithful.

Before the game, the Tacoma, Washington native mentioned that he has no hard feelings towards the Celtics organization and still enjoys watching them on a nightly basis, and he even cracked some jokes during his time with the media.

Thomas: 'There's no hard feelings' with Celtics

Clearly the Celtics fans had nothing to do with the trade that sent Thomas to Cleveland and they showed him nothing but love in his return to Boston.
