As a professional hockey player, you have the spotlight on you at all times. This can sometimes lead to scandal, negative exposure, or just a bad look, but it also means that you have the ability to put a smile on the face of fans.

Mike Condon, a goaltender for the Ottawa Senators, used his familiarity to do just that on Friday. With a young fan coming to attend the Sens preseason game against the Chicago Blackhawks, Condon surprised the kid with a little gift.

Expecting a fist bump, receiving a hockey stick.

It’s become fairly common for kids to receive sticks from hockey players, but their faces never seem to be less surprised. The same goes for pucks as well…

Keep crushin’ it Mike, you’re making dreams come true!
