Following Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Tyronn Lue and J.R. Smith had conflicting quotes about the final play of regulation.

On Saturday, Smith spoke to the media once again and after having nearly two days to think about the play, he had a different take on what his mindset was when he decided to dribble the clock out with the game tied.

That play will forever be the first thing people talk about now when Smith's name is brought up and chances are people won't stop talking about it for a long, long time.

That said, it's hard not to root for him to have a good outing in Game 2 given how much criticism he's taken for appearing to not know the score at the end of the game and cost the Cavs a chance to be up 1-0 in the series.
