When you’re an NFL linebacker like Texans’ Jadeveon Clowney, you’ll do anything inside the legal realm of football plays to make a tackle.

That includes pulling on a player’s hair if need be, which is technically allowed under NFL rules since hair is considered to be a part of a player’s jersey

During the Texas 20-13 win over the Bills, Clowney literally pulled down Bills running back Chris Ivory by a hair, resulting in a loss of three yards. After taking the handoff from Nathan Peterman in the backfield, Ivory looked to have found a hole until Clowney lunged out and grabbed onto a single dreadlock.

You can bet Ivory dreaded being pulled down like that.

Check out the still photo of it.

Ouch.

After the game, Clowney, who ironically sports dreadlocks himself, was asked about his seventh tackle of the season.

 Whatever it takes, right?
