Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker posted arguably the most remarkable performance of the 2016-2017 NBA season last night, after becoming the sixth player in league history to post 70 points in a single game during a 130-120 overtime loss to the Boston Celtics.

Stars throughout the league, the internet, and Booker’s teammates applauded his performance, however, Celtics’ small forward Jae Crowder tried to spoil the fun by reminding everyone that Booker’s team lost the game.

After Crowder commented “Never seen so many guys happy after an “L”, Booker shot back with a clever comment of his own.

Booker raises a good point. Even though his team lost, no one could stop him last night, and he deserves recognition for his accomplishment. On another note- Crowder should just let guy have his moment in the spotlight. Remember, this kid is just 20-years-old.

You can probably expect more big performances like this one from him in the future.
