Leafs defenceman Jake Muzzin capped off back-to-back wins against the Calgary Flames with a cherry on top.
At the end of the game, Muzzin decided to get under Calgary’s Matthew Tkachuk skin a little bit. After the final buzzer sound, Muzzin who was only a couple feet away, flipped the puck at Tkachuk who was just getting up from being down on the ice. Let’s just say Tkachuk didn’t take this too lightly!
Maybe this was Muzzin’s way of saying good game or maybe it was more of a slap in the face to him after losing. Regardless, the Leafs defenceman was still given an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
At least we have seven more games of this heated new rivalry!
