With all but one box on her checklist ticked off — items such as ‘Go to kindergarten’ and ‘Loose a tooth like a hockey player’ already achieved — she just needed a selfie with a Caps player for full completion. Fortunately, Jakub Vrana spotted this sign and offered a helping hand.
Good guy, Jakob Vrana! But the star of this show is that young girl, finally able to tick off that last box. This is a better crowd sign than we were bringing anywhere as six-year-olds, and a better checklist to boot.
Hockey players are always happy to give up some of their time for young fans at their games, and that’s why we love what this sport is all about.
