Jalen Ramsey is currently in the final season of his contract with the Los Angeles Rams, and even though he hasn’t signed a new contract just yet it hasn’t stopped him from making an extremely generous contribution to society.

Earlier this week, the 25-year-old cornerback pledged to donate $1 million to Purpose Preparatory Academy in Nashville, which will allow the academy to expand its programming and purchase any necessary resources.

Ramsey was born in Smyrna, Tennessee, and went to high school in the Nashville area, and he’s been involved with the school for several years.

Lagra Newman, the founder and head of school at Purpose Prep Academy, told the LA Times that the donation will be used for technology, professional development and other areas that will help students continue to achieve a proper education despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
