The Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Clippers have gone in completely different directions since their blockbuster deal this past offseason. The Rockets went into LA on Wednesday night on a 13-game winning streak and 14.5 games up on the Clippers in the standings and it showed early on in the game.

The visitors came out flying and took a 22-point lead into the second quarter as they outscored the Clippers 34-12 in the opening frame. As bad as it is to be down by over 20 and have only 13 points beside your team’s name after the opening quarter, it’s even worse when someone on the visiting team embarrasses one of his opponents on their home court.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a 21-point game or a two-point game, when James Harden embarrasses you with a crossover as nasty as that one you know he’s going to stare you down right after and Wesley Johnson found out the hard way.

Johnson knew it was game over once he put his hand on the court and barely made an effort to get back into position to stop Harden’s shot.

The Rockets are pretty much unstoppable right now and they’re going to rub it in their opponents’ face whenever they can.
