If you haven’t watched Shohei Ohtani in action yet you need to add it to your to do list.

If he’s not hitting a home run and driving in runs for the Angels he’s putting in six innings of work on the mound and striking out batters. Through 77 games, the soon-to-be 27-year-old leads all batters in triples (4) and home runs (30), and sits third in RBI (66) and OPS (1.067).

On top of those 77 games as a batter, Ohtani has also started 12 games this year. Through 12 starts Ohtani has struck out 83 batters through 60 innings of work and holds a 3.60 ERA on the season.

Many people consider Babe Ruth to be one of the greatest players in the history of the sport and Ohtani is putting up similar numbers to The Great Bambino, both at the plate and on the mound.

And when we say you don’t want to miss him play, we mean it. Whenever they show the Japanese broadcast of Angels games in Japan they have a dedicated Ohtani cam so you can watch his every move all game long.

Honestly, we need North American broadcasts to start doing the same thing because the man can do it all and it’s going to be a long time until we see another player like Ohtani.
