Jaromir Jagr’s days in the NHL might be over, but that doesn’t mean his hockey playing days are over.

The 45-year-old cleared waivers earlier this week and was assigned to HC Kladno of the WSM Liga, the second highest league in the Czech Republic under the Extraliga.

On Saturday night, the two-time Stanley Cup champion played his first game back in Czech Republic and the arena was packed with fans who wanted to catch a glimpse of the five-time Art Ross Trophy winner live in action.

The 13-time NHL All-Star proved that he can still play at a professional level as he finished the game with three assists as his team cruised to a 7-2 victory.

Following the game, Jagr took some time to sign some autographs and take some pictures with young fans hanging over the railing, and they even sent him on his way with some gifts.

Jagr will be 46 in less than two weeks but he can still get the job done on the ice at a pretty high level.
