Jesse vs. Luca is a daily battle at the office, so when Luca heard that Jesse was going to try standup comedy, we were surprised he wasn’t in attendance – we thought he would have loved to heckle.
Now it all makes sense.
The video is finally here and Jesse explains that the reason that Luca was not in attendance was so he could grade his performance after the fact. Now, the moment has finally arrived. Of course, we assumed there would be jokes about the Leafs, but what followed the opening NHL jokes was a series of stories from Jesse’s minor hockey days that we will never forget.
The hockey jokes were punny and the stories were just so on brand for Jesse, we have to say we enjoyed the performance. Plus, now it makes a little more sense why he keeps running off the ice during our rec-league games.
Well, that and the Tabasco sauce that he’s been drinking…
Now the real question… is he going to try it again?
