Sometimes it is hard for players to acclimatize to their new team. They're in a new city, they have new teammates, and a new fanbase trying to get used to them as well. For Jimmy Butler, the best course of action was to dive right into Minnesota culture - perhaps a little too literally.

Butler went on a camping trip with ESPN's Sam Alipour, who is also unfamiliar with Minnesota. During the trip they set up tents, built a fire, made s'mores, and went for a little canoe ride. Unfortunately for Butler, the canoe ride didn't go so well.

As the two approached the safety of land, Alipour hopped out of the canoe and left an unprepared Butler off balance. He tipped right over into the cold lake water, screaming the whole way. Luckily the water was extremely shallow, and the Timberwolves newest star appeared to escape the situation hypothermia-free.

Maybe Jimmy will just stick to the basketball court for the rest of his time in Minnesota.
