It hasn’t just been general managers that have gone great lengths to lure potential free agent John Tavares to their club.

5-7 teams have expressed interest in his services and as the days wind down until free agency, more and more people in the hockey world are starting to believe there’s a real chance he heads to San Jose. Team captain Joe Pavelski’s grandmother is fully on board with the recruitment, and took it upon herself to make her thoughts public on Twitter.

That outta do it!

The Toronto Maple Leafs, another team believed to be a top contender for Tavares, is also doing everything they can to bring the potential free agent in. Their former player and TSN Radio personality Jeff O’Neill jumped in on the Twitter thread and insisted he would look good in Toronto, too.

Odog even came up with his own way to settle the Tavares free agency situation.

With more than $18 million in cap space, San Jose has the financial resources (and roster) to bring Tavares aboard. Will he roll with them on July 1st?

Where will John #Tavares end up? 🤔🏒
