Signing a 1-year, $8 million contract is serious business, but that doesn't mean that the person signing that contract has to be in serious business attire. Sunday, Joe Thornton finally put pen to paper on his contract with the San Jose sharks, and he did so while mowing his lawn, wearing a Floyd Mayweather 'The Money Team' shirt and flip-flops.

This is honestly exactly how we would have expected Jumbo to sign a contract, because the man is an absolute beauty and a national treasure. No need to wear a tuxedo, top hat and cane to go close a multi-million deal when a pair of boardshorts and flip-flops will suffice.
