The Philadelphia 76ers were in the same boat as the Toronto Raptors on Saturday as they dropped the first game of their playoff series on their home court. Considering the Sixers put up 51 wins this season and finished third in the Eastern Conference, their fans were expecting them to cruise by the 42-40 Brooklyn Nets in the first round, but that’s not going to be the case.

Since Philly sports fans are known to be some of the most passionate sports fans on the planet, they made sure to let their team hear it as they booed them off the court at the sound of the final buzzer. Some of the players didn’t take the booing too kindly, especially after just one playoff game, but Joel Embiid had no problem with it whatsoever.

While Embiid had no issues with the fans booing them for their performance in Game 1, Ben Simmons took a different angle on the whole thing and didn’t seem to thrilled with the hometown fans booing them.

The Sixers will try to get back into the series on Monday night in Philadelphia.
