Joel Embiid is going to be the cover athlete for the upcoming NBA Live 19 videogame, and we can thank that for his recent appearance on the “Hot Ones” web series. While snacking on wings of increasing spiciness, Embiid also took the time to answer questions on a wide range of topics.

Of course, they had to discuss Embiid’s dominance on the outdoor courts of Philadelphia, where he’s been a frequent presence in the offseason. It sure must be nice for local 76ers fans to have the chance to get brutally dunked on by their team’s superstar.

Embiid also shared his hope for his in-game rating (95; if he doesn’t get it from the jump, he’ll go out and earn it) as well as the experience of video-gaming against teammate T.J. McConnell (“I was beating the [expletive] out of him. He was about to cry, and I was enjoying it, because that’s what I like doing.”)

Finally, at the end, it was “The Last Dab Reduxx” wing that was able to make Embiid squirm. He was doing well up to that point, saying the spice of African food prepared him well, but the 2 million Scoville unit hot sauce finally got him. Check it out around the 16:55 mark of the video.
