MLB teams around the league have placed cardboard cutouts of their fans around the ballpark, and it turns out some of them aren’t very cheap.

During a recent sit-down with the media, Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto asked about the cardboard cutouts and came up with the idea of purchasing an entire section and dedicating it to himself.

We’re honestly a little surprised that none of the players thought of pranking their teammates this way, but based on Votto’s question it seems like they didn’t really know about the cutouts coming into the shortened season.
