It was a scary sight to see John Tavares go down in last night’s game against Montreal but the good news is that he sent update from his Twitter account letting fans know he was doing alright.
Luckily when the event happened veteran forward Jason Spezza came right over to Tavares and was talking to him as EMS prepared him to be stretchered off.
Spezza said he spoke to Tavares after the game and recognizing his voice is what helped Tavares keep calm during the ordeal.
