The playoffs are right around the corner, which means it’s time for everyone to turn it up a notch.

On Friday night, the Edmonton Oilers’ AHL affiliate Bakersfield Condors hosted the Anaheim Ducks’ AHL affiliate San Diego Gulls in a must-win game on home ice.

Despite being outshot 10-1 in the opening frame and 31-17 overall, Bakersfield managed to scrape up a massive 5-1 victory over the Gulls. Ten players ended up getting on the scoresheet for the Condors, including goalie Jonas Gustavsson, who scored his first career goal in the victory.

We’re sure the man formerly known as 'The Monster' doesn’t care if it was a nice goal or not. His team got the victory and he contributed on both sides of the puck.

Thirty-one saves, a goal, and a victory, Gustavsson did it all for his team on Friday night to help secure a victory.
