He may be 5’9, but that’s never stopped Jonathan Marchessault from trying to stir the pot.

The Quebec native was up to his usual antics on Tuesday night as he attempted to get under the skin of a certain Canucks forward who’s been causing headaches for the Golden Knights all series long. That’s right, we’re talking about Antoine Roussel! As time expired in the second period, Marchessault essentially came out of nowhere to give the French forward a little helmet lift before leaving the ice.

The whole thing wasn’t even that sneaky. The referee literally watched him do it, but what is the zebra going to do? Give him a penalty for that? No way. And besides, it’s at least better than pulling a Blake Comeau after the whistle?

Roussel and the Canucks didn’t seem too fazed, as they managed to come away with a 2-1 win. But wow are these moments are fun to watch take place.

The #Canucks edge the Golden Knights to force a Game 6!
